'Ugly Betty' Cancellation: Where Does the Cast Go From Here?

On Wednesday, ABC announced the disappointing (but not entirely unexpected) decision to cancel its quirky dramedy 'Ugly Betty,' which will end its final 20 episode run sometime in April. For four seasons, we've laughed, cried and cringed along with Betty Suarez and her dysfunctional cadre of fashionistas, frenemies and family, and its safe to say our lives will be a little less colorful without our weekly dose of Betty's disastrous fashion choices.

But life must go on, for the cast as well as the show's faithful followers -- and, according to the Hollywood Reporter, the cast is already in demand.

With that in mind, we at Inside TV have got a few suggestions for where our favorite New Yorkers might look for gainful employment once 'Betty' has bowed.

'Doctor Who': Greatest Moments Past and Present

On New Year's day we waved goodbye to David Tennant, arguably the most popular actor to portray The Doctor in the landmark BBC series Doctor Who.

Tennant was the ninth actor to play The Doctor since the series debuted in 1963 -- unless you also count Paul McGann's one-shot appearance in a 1996 TV movie and Peter Cushing, who played The Doctor in two 1960s theatrical films.

However you count time lords, or rank them by personal preference, the end of another era in the series' storied history is an appropriate time to look back on classic adventures of the past. Before the Matt Smith era begins later this year, we've listed our three favorite 'Doctor Who' stories from each of the previous actors who piloted the TARDIS through time and space.

Top ten adverts of 2009: Prepare to be shocked!

Cadbury AdLooking back at 2009 there were plenty of pesky commercials that really made us begrudge the break in our favourite TV shows. Notably the ones asking: "Have you had an accident at work?"

And then there were the ones that we quite looked forward to seeing, some people even sought out these ad's to watch online. Visitors to tellyAds.com watched 6.3m clips this year, 50 per cent more than last year.

The website has now released figures on the most-viewed clips, announcing that the Cadbury's Dairy Milk commercial, featuring a boy and girl with "dancing" eyebrows, has been named the public's favourite of 2009.

Interview: Steve Edge talks Guantanamo Phil

Steve Edge Channel 4's Comedy Showcase season is in full swing, meaning you get to watch a series of six one-off funny shows. Two of which may end up getting commissioned for a full series.

Guantanamo Phil is one of these. It's a sitcom pilot telling the fictional story of a Woolworths assistant manager, Phil Mill, who was arrested by US Marines on suspicion of being a terrorist after venturing to the Afghanistan-Pakistan border on a birdwatching holiday.

The show catches up with Mill following his return home after a six-year-long stint in Guantanamo. Of course life in Britain is not quite as Phil remembers it - the credit crunch has claimed both his job and home. And he has several thousand answer phone messages to deal with.

Steve Edge and Rebekah Staton star in the comedy and we caught up with them both to find out more about the show and British comedy...

TV's most ridiculous perfume adverts

lust perfume - 1974. No, really...You've all seen them – the ridiculously extravagant and desperately romantic perfume adverts which increasingly grace our television screens around Christmas time, and project a vision of a world that is so out of touch for 99.9 per cent of the population it's untrue.

Well we decided instead of spending our time wondering why our other half doesn't adoringly follow us through Paris and passionately embrace us in an azure blue sea, we'll poke some fun at these high-class designer ads you've all seen before instead...

Interview: Alex MacQueen on The Amazing Dermott

Alex MacQueenWe caught up with Alex MacQueen, who you might recognise from Holby City, The Thick of It or The Inbetweeners, to talk about his role in Comedy Showcase: The Amazing Dermott and his fruitful career in comedy.

Do you feel like you're in competition with the other shows?
I know a few of the guys who are in the other shows, I know the guys in Phone Shop and I know Sharon Horgan from Pulling, and Justin Edwards who I think is in Guantanamo Phil? So I know a number of the other actors and performers, so it would be great if all of them could be commissioned into comedies.

It's nice to see six completely new comedies about to be launched, and that's where Channel 4 is a really vital organ in promoting new material. I don't suppose the other commercial broadcasters wouldn't necessarily have the resources or the courage to commission six completely different comedies in one batch, so it's great Channel 4 have done it I must say.
