Gordon Ramsay is to lose his biggest trademark – swearing. The foul-mouthed chef has vowed to quit his famous bad language. At 43 Gordon reckons he's now too old for the four-letter tirades, he also wants to stop bullying bad chefs onscreen.
On both his F-Word show and Kitchen Nightmares Gordon is almost as famous for cussing as for cooking.
He told the Sun he counted 298 "f***s" when two episodes of Kitchen Nightmares were condensed. That's a hell of a lot of swearing.
He said: "I wasn't proud of that. There has come a time when I'm getting a bit tired of the foul-mouthed bully chef."
Then, forgetting himself for a moment, he said: "I was a crazy f*****g psycho. If anyone even bruised a chive I came down on them like a ton of bricks."
His swearing even sparked an Ofcom investigation last year after he swore every 20 seconds on Great British Nightmare.
But don't expect a new sweet Gordon, he explained: "I've never tried to get the Great British blue-rinse nation to start falling in love with me.
"I don't want a radical change where I have to put on a woolly hat and scarf and go round every Women's Institute to improve their Victoria sponge or show them a much better recipe for spotted dick."
What do you think will Gordon be a bit dull without his F-Words?

Giving up his swearing rants wont alter the fact that he is still an a***hole

If his talent as a chef was as big as his ego he could go far, personally I think he is a talent free jerk !

he wont be able to - it takes years - swearing is a kind of rhythmic blood pressure lowering mechanism in kitchens- unless he has stopped cooking in his own kitchens which seems to me distinctly possible given he spends so much time cluttering up my screen he wont be able to stop for quite a while lol

Ramsey is an arrogant, ignorant, bully.
I stopped watching his programs a long time ago. The day the TV companies dump him cant come soon enough!
I have sympathy for his children as they will grow up knowing that their Father was "famous" for swearing on telly - some accolade!

Doesn't matter if he does give up his foul mouth or not, he's still the foulest individual going and the world would be a far better place without the likes of that personality - if that's what it can be called. He's a total bully and a total bore. A horrible nature and horrible to see. I'm repulsed by him.

More intelligent and mature viewers simply switch off to avoid the sort of language now accepred as commonplace.
Swearng is a sign of limited intellect and is only used to intimidate.
Switch off and avoid the gratuitous offal offered by poor television management - Ramsey, Ross and their like should be offered lessons in English Language or sacked.

Gordon Ramsey is one of the worlds finest chefs constantly working to standards that most cooks can only dream about. So why should he have to suffer fools, incompetance, and people who have failed to reach the low standards in life they have set themselves.
